Influencer marketing is a marketing tactic ecommerce brands use to reach a wider audience, acquire new customers and polish their brand image through lifestyle positioning.
It happens on social media and blogs where brands partner up with influencers to promote their products. Typically, a discount is provided for the influencer’s audience as an incentive.
The usual arrangement is that the influencer gets the products for free to use and review plus some kind of payment. We recommend setting up a referral link or code for them to give out so you can measure the actual sales they bring you, and paying a commission on that, not a flat rate.
